Day 2 evening post...Here is a picture of each boy

The classes are in full swing and new skills are being learned at every turn.  I have discovered this a huge camp with dirt roads and paths that never seem to end.  Several of the boys have events on opposite sides of the camp.  They came to me to see if we could calculate how far they are walking and if we could count it as a 10 mile hike.  I got a map out and calculated from the water front to the climbing wall is actually 1.2 miles so the 10 minutes between classes might not be enough time.

Here is a picture or two of each boy:

Logan in the canoe class

Lakota and Cole getting ready to swamp canoes.  The lake is  46 degrees today.

Cordon and Mason getting ready to head off to the Nature Center

Ty holding our Troop Flag for morning flag ceremony

Trenton dominating at the archery range...no joke he is schooling everyone.

Mason in Nature and Mammal studies

Dallin getting ready to go to the dining hall.

Harmon at the climbing wall.
8 of the 9 boys are in Orienteering.  So tonight 9 of the 9 boys are going to go participate in the night time orienteering course.  The boys have also gone above and beyond keeping camp clean and orderly.  They got 110 our of 105 points on their inspection today.  This was the only perfect plus score in the entire camp.  The next question I have for the boys at least my own son is "Why can't you do that at home with your bedroom?"
